All organisations go through change and often the experience of leading a large group of people through change is difficult. This is not because the rational reasons for change are difficult, but because everyone feels different (emotionally) about change. Many organisations / leaders miss this, and so push forward with rational communications, and wonder why it is so difficult to get people on board.

In our dynamic workshop, Amplify your Voice™, we invite your participants to first engage with emotion (music is a brilliant way of doing this), and then to articulate how they feel towards the change your organisation is facing. Dividing participants into groups, each groups is tasked with articulating their feelings, fears, hopes, from positive to difficult, in a song that they write, rehearse and later perform to each other, on stage, with a live rock band. 

The results are extraordinary. What happens is for the first time your organisation / leaders actually listen. For when a song is performed to an audience, the audience listens.  They hear what people REALLY think!

For the performers, they articulate in a powerful and constructive way the range of feelings, fears, hopes they have (from difficult to positive). 

And it becomes a cathartic moment. A moment where the organisation hears AND the organisation is heard AND what needs to be said is said. 

We facilitate this extraordinary experience over a 2 ½ – 3 hour session; ideally placed in the afternoon of the conference before your celebration dinner.

We explore the difference a leader makes to a high performing team, for good and bad. Observing a team of world-class musicians with their conductor, this is a session that allows seasoned leaders, “who have seen it all before”, to really pause and reflect. They learn by watching “themselves”, in the musicians and the conductor. As such it is an invitation to reflect and learn in a non-judgmental and inclusive way. Leaders love this because it empowers them to step up even more.
