Caspar Berry brings a wealth of experience—from professional poker tables and film sets to executive boardrooms—providing audiences with transformative insights on risk, decision-making and leadership under pressure.
Following roles as an actor in Byker Grove alongside Ant & Dec, Caspar studied economics and anthropology at Cambridge. He went on to write and direct award-winning films and commercials for Film Four and Columbia TriStar before making a radical pivot into the world of poker at age 26. Over three years in Las Vegas, he mastered high-stakes competition and developed deep psychological resilience.
Returning to the UK, Caspar co-founded Twenty First Century Media, growing it to 40 staff before selling to Ten Alps plc. At the same time, he became a popular TV poker expert on shows like Poker Night Live and Sky Poker , with over 2,000 hours of live commentary. His expertise even earned him a role as poker advisor on the James Bond film Casino Royale .

Since transitioning to full-time speaker and trainer, Caspar has delivered more than 2,000 presentations to leaders at Google, IBM, Barclays, Citigroup, Lloyd’s and Nestlé. He uses poker as a metaphor for real-world challenges, teaching audiences how to differentiate between calculated risk and reckless gamble through behavioural science, economics and storytelling.
