Rob Kearney is one of Ireland’s most recognisable and respected former rugby players, following a distinguished professional career spanning more than 15 years with Leinster Rugby, Ireland, and the British & Irish Lions. During his playing career, Rob achieved sustained success at the highest levels of club and international rugby. With Leinster Rugby, he won four European Champions Cups and six Pro-12 titles, playing a key role during one of the most dominant eras in the club’s history. At international level, he earned 95 caps for Ireland, contributing to four Six Nations Championships, including the historic Grand Slams of 2009 and 2018.
Individually, Rob’s performances were recognised when he was named European Player of the Year in 2012, underlining his standing among Europe’s elite players. Following his retirement from professional rugby, he made history once again by becoming the first former men’s international player to sit on the Executive Board of World Rugby, offering a player-informed perspective at the highest level of the sport’s governance.
