    The Automated Business

How organisations redesign work, decisions and growth using AI, data and automation
Aligned to the PROGRESS™ Framework (can also be delivered without explicitly referencing the framework)

Length: 2 hours (can also be delivered as 25–30 minute keynote)

Overview: This keynote is structured around the PROGRESS™ Framework, showing how organisations move from early AI curiosity to embedded, scalable execution across the business. If preferred, the session can be delivered without explicitly referencing the framework, while still following the same underlying logic and progression.

    • It focuses on how work actually happens inside companies today, where processes break down, where time is lost, and how AI, data and automation reshape that into a more efficient and scalable operating model.
    • Rather than introducing AI as a separate initiative, the session positions it as part of how workflows are designed, owned and executed. Each stage of the journey is brought to life with practical examples from SME and enterprise environments, showing how organisations move from identifying friction to implementing, embedding and scaling AI in a controlled way.
    • The keynote gives leaders a clear structure to follow, avoiding the typical trap of jumping into tools without understanding workflows, ownership and impact.

    Key Takeaways:

    • A clear understanding of how organisations move from initial AI exploration to structured, scalable execution across the business.
    • How to break down workflows to identify friction, inefficiencies and missed opportunities across the organisation.
    • How to redesign key processes using AI and automation, focusing on high impact areas such as proposals, communication, reporting and decision support.
    • How to connect data across systems to enable faster, more informed decision making.
    • How to align teams, ownership and workflows so AI is embedded into daily operations rather than used in isolation.
    • How to enable teams to adopt AI in a practical way, ensuring consistent usage and capability building across the business.
    • How to move from isolated use cases to a repeatable, scalable operating model.
    • What to avoid, including chasing tools too early, overcomplicating solutions, or failing to assign clear ownership.
