Biography
Sir Clive Woodward is best known for leading England’s rugby team to World Cup victory in 2003.
As a former England International and British & Irish Lion, he transformed the team from sixth in the world to number one. Under his leadership, England won every major trophy in international rugby.
His success as a coach stems from a strong commitment to innovation, discipline, and building winning mindsets. These core values have shaped his legacy in both sport and leadership.
After his rugby career, Sir Clive joined the British Olympic Association in 2006. As Director of Sport, he played a key role in preparing Team GB for the Beijing and Vancouver Olympics.
He worked closely with national coaches and athletes to raise performance standards. This collaboration helped pave the way for Team GB’s historic success at London 2012, where the UK celebrated its most successful Olympic Games in over a century.
Today, Sir Clive is Founding Partner and Chairman of Hive Learning.
