Biography
Dean Leak is an internationally recognised speaker and performance strategist with a remarkable track-record spanning Olympic sport, government and global business. He began his career helping elite athletes in the UK high-performance system and has worked with champions such as Jade Jones and Joe Clarke.
Transitioning into the corporate world, he has guided Fortune 100 executives and worked with major organisations including L’Oréal, IBM, Microsoft, WeWork, the British Government and the BBC to build healthy, high-performing cultures.
Dean’s approach is informed by elite sport and specialist leadership: he trained under the neuroscientist Professor Steve Peters (author of The Chimp Paradox), learned from UK special-forces leaders and hostage-negotiators, and graduated from a prestigious UK sports leadership programme.
Today, Dean helps organisations and leadership teams transition from avoiding conflict to embracing it: he shows how deliberate, well-managed disagreement becomes a strategic advantage. His signature frameworks empower teams to unlock trust, spark innovation, and sustain excellence by designing cultures where tension is fuel rather than friction.
